The Nurses' Journal is a social community network for African Nurses, focused on the millennial generation.
A platform where aspiring and student nurses nurture their passion, establish professional communal relationships, reflect and relearn from experiences, expand capacities, thereby, instilling personal and professional growth. In turn, reconstituting building blocks that make up the nursing profession and strengthening its advancement in Africa.

A global community of young generation nurses united firmly by passion and capacity expansion, ready to take over the health sector using expanded capacities, leadership adeptness, and technological advancements.

Our mission is to inspire and teach African nurses with a focus on the millennial generation into defining a purpose and building individual capacities (towards the collective achievement of the advancement of Nursing profession in Africa), by providing superior information, educative reflections, trainings, and embracive mentorship.

De Pioneer Student Nurse

I want to be a Lawyer. I want to be an Actress. I want to be an Aeronautic Engineer. Alas! I find myself in Nursing School. Well, I loved the pretty Nurses I saw around. I loved the smart uniforms and huge smiles they wore. I loved the charisma and esteem even more. However, nobody warned me to run. There I was, amidst De Pioneer class. Like a book with its numerous pages, Nursing School began unfolding. The sun always kissed welldone. Blood, pus, and pain were characteristic of Clinicals. I started to question if I was really cut out for this. But like the mafia, I was sucked in too deep already. My first Clinical Experience

My name is Olubukola Sharon Ayo. As a 3rd year Nursing student, I've managed to survive 2 and half out of 5 years. It's been well, interesting. The every morning alarm.. The daily hustle and bustle.. The never ending stretch of exams.. The struggle of clinical postings... It's a pity none of this will be ending soon. It's been quite a journey indeed. I'll share with you my first clinical experience. I was a box of nerves!
